We went to this Italian restaurant and we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, a half hour for some garlic bread, and then nearly an hour for our main meals. My husband was mad, but paid anyway. We ended up at this restaurant a second time because the street this restaurant is on you walk up and down the street to pick the restaurant based on the menu outside and the guy standing outside drawing people in.
As we sat there we started experiencing déjà vu. We were waiting forever for our drinks....waited and waited for our garlic bread...got our main meal, but never got the garlic bread. We finished and this guy comes running out and hands us garlic bread and my husband said,”You are too late.” The guy never said sorry he just turned and set the garlic bread on another table.
We were fuming and refused to pay. We were forced to pay. We made sure they knew everyone would know how horrible they were.
A few weeks later that restaurant shut for good by the health department due to food being stored with chemicals and I believe there was rat poisoning stored with food. We have never been back to Lygon Street ever again. Blech!
