Sometimes it feels like people want to see you fail so that they'd know they're right?

I feel this way regarding some of my friends and ex (kinda) ever since I left Christianity.

They say things like "I just hope you're happy now, like real happy, not pretending to be happy" and then go talk about how foolish my decision is with other people.

I can't help wondering why they have to say that since aren't even happy themselves. At least they don't look happy.

Also, I've come to like having a glass of rosé from time to time during meal time. Before I didn't drink at all . I commented it with some of them when we met during Christmas, and now it's like the whole city needs to know about it. My ex who wasn't there was commenting about it with another friend of mine.

It's annoying

hmm most people don't even talk religion with their friends so how did your friends even know???? or is it your family???
Trevo · 26-30, M
@trackboy well we all grew up in church, and we all met around the age of 11. It's normal that they'd know that I don't believe on God anymore.

My family doesn't care, except for my mother but still she accepts it.
