Whatever you do, just remember that he'll most likely handle frustrating situations in his life the same way you handle this with him. So, you're training him one way or another, whether you want to or not.

I understand. I still learn from my parents, the way they work through things, and I'm well into adulthood. Just a thought, not a judgment. You know your situation best and I hope the best for you and your family.
