Is there any cure to the unpleasant life I feel after sin I have committed?

I feel destroyed at times..

Only you can forgive yourself, and that unpleasantness will stay until you forgive yourself. It will stay for a while even after you forgive yourself. Unpleasantness goes away from understanding life..there’s no good and bad, doing some good or bad things doesn’t make us a good or bad person. What we do is an action, it doesn’t define who we are. Sin and feeling of unpleasantness is there to help you learn from it. You can decide that you won’t repeat it again and forgive yourself slowly over the time. It takes time. I’ve gone thru something similar. At times, i still feel destroyed, and i cry it out, i ask for forgiveness, i forgive myself again. It’s okay, we are all human beings. That’s how life is supposed to be. Our good or bad deeds dont define us. If you feel bad by a bad deed, then do some good deeds instead. That will help counteract that bad feeling. These are just some of the ways i know. :)

@Pianist1234 I feel it once in a while, the frequency of that feeling coming back to haunt has reduced drastically. for me it's been 4 years now. i'd done something bad too, very bad, a sin maybe, in my eyes it was unforgivable. talking to people on ep helped me realize that it's okay, the actions don't make us a devil. if there is forgiveness and repentance for what you did, that brokenness heals over the time. and we all have a dark side and a bright side within us, it depends on us which side we want to be in us. whether or not you want the dark side to rule you or you want the light, it's a choice we all have. Are you Christian? I don't know much about Christianity, but listening to a few Christian worship songs have helped me heal over the time. No matter how bad it is, we can always start again. The Grace is always there. :)
