First day metal detecting and I found a whole quarter!!! Gold coins are next!!

@SimplyTracie It was. I have been wanting to try it for a long time. So I got a machine and went around my yard.

@SW-User Are you planning on searching at a beach?

@SimplyTracie Yes I am. I am going on vacation in a couple of weeks. Then I can search that area. I am sure it has already been searched but still who knows what one might find.

@SW-User Do you have like a treasure chest to put your stuff in? Even if it’s just a bottle cap it’ll still be fun to collect it.

@SimplyTracie Yes I did. It is a 2001 so it is only worth 25 cents but still I was excited to find it. I had been digging nails for the first hour.
