What's the strongest emotion you've ever been touched by?

Sadness, grief, an overwhelming and nearly unbearable sense of loss that can hardly be put into words. I felt it, along with a tidal wave of nostalgia, when I heard a Rudy Valle song on YouTube the other day and realized that all of my elders are now gone, a whole generation in the historical past now, people I loved, some I feared, even hated, all of them gone. How badly I long to talk to them and see and hear them once again.
