I can see why you say that. I can agree that there have been some smart people yet deny that God exists. I also agree that they can be successful and seem to have the life that one would want to have themselves. They have this life and after this to stand before God and give an account of what they did and for the words they spoke. Heaven is only promised to those whose name is written in the Book of Life. It is quite simple to ensure your name is there, but many people reject it or think they can get in some other way. It pains me to know that so many people are so close to salvation, but miss the mark.
