Do religious fanatics really see evolution as a religion? That’s so contradictory:

They don't. They just say that because they can't defend religion in the face of science. So they pretend that science is just another religion, which means that both sides just have to respect each other's beliefs. As opposed to one side being correct and the other side being wrong.
