Didn't get home for the weekend...
...well about four weekends ago, some friends were going to pick me up on Friday night as I was going to get home...with a view to maybe permanently moving home.
I'd been laughing at one guy there who was like 70 as I told him he had no chance of getting home in his state.
So I finished work at 2pm that day, turned off my laptop and had a few beers that I'd managed to sneak in there.
I did say I would only have a couple, but I was bored and had 4, that, mixed with my meds was not a good idea as I was as high as a kite, could hardly walk and could only babble and giggle.
When my friends came to pick me up the nurse there took one look at me and sent my friends away, saying there was no way I was going home...yeah, you guessed it that 70 year old got home for the long weekend leaving me to sleep it off.
