Weekends are always gone so quickly! Back to the school run and supporting my daughter at school.

Chiara has taken to her new school. The last few months have been easier than I expected them to be. She is an adaptable young lady, and she has joined a number of after school classes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Chiara is becoming more womanly and less the little girl I have been so used to! Eleven years old and crossing the puberty threshold and surprising me in so many ways. She has just had her sixth monthly period of menstruation, and she wears a bralet most days as she is getting her breasts now too.

This weekend we have been to ballet and today to Church. Advent Sunday, Chiara loves the run up to Christmas. She is saddened by the death of her great grandfather.

Chiara is quite an extraordinary young lady. She seems to be transitioning nicely from childhood into womanhood. She's a very well adjusted young lady. I can tell you are so proud of her. She is a reflection of the care and love you have shown her.
I know she misses her great grandfather and is sad from his passing. Just as you are missing your grandfather. With time, his passing will ease for her. The memories will last a lifetime though.
