Why do people make excuses to not make time to call or text?

I mean people are on their phones a lot, well most. I mean it shouldn’t take long to text. It only takes a sec! Being busy is no excuse to not text back or call. I mean get REAL!
My guy best friend hasn’t texted or email me back. I didn’t hear from him. Since he’s taking an online class, he responded less and less. Last time I’ve heard from him was this weekend. It only takes a sec or two minutes of a text or email. I mean come on! Nobody is THAT busy. No excuses. I don’t care how busy he or anyone is. They need to answer. People are on their phones so there’s no excuse!
