Uninvited I was so humiliated

Last month on the 29th of June, my husband and I were invited to his buddy's wedding. I wasn't sure if I would make it and it was based on how I was feeling, if I was up to it or not, then I suggested my daughter go in my place to drive my husband home if he were to drink. When the wedding approached his buddy asked my husband to be his best man!!! When the wedding day came I was feeling better physically and was able to go, so my husband and daughter took the blue car and went early for the ceramony, my son and I missed the ceramony we were late because we had hair appointments around noon...Then we made our way to the wedding during the reception...I saw Gilly the groom and he was soo happy to see me...We were enjoying ourselves when a woman came out of the kitchen and said that I wasn't invited!! Because I knew Gilly's ex girlfriend and was friends with them back in the day, and didn't know the bride. I was so hurt, so I left before dinner and went home while my family stayed for dinner at the wedding, when I was walking to my car Gilly the groom asked me to stay for dinner but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes.... I was so humiliated! I was invited from the begining, I just wasn't sure if I would be up to it due to my health on that day!
