Wedding Invitation Request

This is a follow up to another post I had about my niece's wedding being in the traditional Catholic latin rite.
On the website with the invitation it said
"Please dress modestly out of respect and reverence"
Do you find that condescending?
I don't that anyone in my family would dress inappropriately.

@JimboSaturn I suppose if they wanted to be contrary they could do that.
Why is it such a hard concept to understand you don't dress like you're going to a bar on some occasions?

@Justmeraeagain Oh I agree. You shouldn't dress you are going to a disco for a wedding. Nor does the bride have to look super sexy.
