I found out my ex got married like 3 days ago. We don't speak but she looks so happy and it warms my heart

They married in Colorado lol of course it had to be some extravagant wedding! I think getting married was always her dream cuz she's a romantic and always went overboard on anniversaries. She loved being in love.

I on the other hand hated the thought of marriage and amazing flashy weddings. I knew we didn't fit but she didn't. I'm glad she found someone who could keep up with her. It better last.

Aww! I used to love the idea of getting married! Your ex sounds really relatable to who I was. It sounds like you handled a difficult matter really maturely though so you have my respect.

@Reject after being pushed away after trying to be intimate with her several times, it just planted the seed in my head. I was surprised when she was upset. Like, Jesus I thought you didn't like me anymore, what's all this? Lol

@SailorMarz You’re able to look at love without rose colored glasses so you can see the red flags! That’s a really important characteristic to have. It’s going to save you a lot of unnecessary heartache. She seems a little too idealistic, so she probably couldn’t understand why she wasn’t happy anymore. The truths you saw early on she didn’t want to accept. At least that’s how it looks from here on the outside.

@Reject well when I get into relationships I look for reasons not to be in them right away. I'm actively looking for flaws because I have commitment issues 😂. But when I catch feelings, it's not that I don't see them anymore, I just try to deal with them cuz maybe we can work through them. But me being non-confrontational in order to keep the peace is a real problem.

@Reject yeah I'll never forget the day she was mad at me because I didn't ask her to prom in a huge way like everyone else in school was doing.

I'm not announcing to the whole school that I'm taking you to prom, I have social anxiety 😂

@SailorMarz Woah. You understand yourself really well. It’s no wonder you’ve been able to look at this whole thing without hatred or disdain like most people have for exes. You can see and take accountability for your role in it. I believe you can strengthen these weaknesses into wonderful traits. You just need chill people in the meantime. Lol.
