Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and everywhere you turn, love is being sold in red and pink. Balloons. Flowers. Chocolates. “Perfect couples” on timelines. It can feel loud when you’re single—like the world is reminding you of something you don’t have.
But being single isn’t a curse. It’s a season.
A season of learning yourself without distractions.
A season of becoming whole on your own, not half waiting for another half.
Love isn’t only found in couples. Love is in growth. Love is in healing. Love is in becoming the kind of person you’d actually want to be with. Sometimes, Lovers’ Day isn’t about who is holding your hand—it’s about who you’re becoming when no one is.
And yes, it’s okay to want love. It’s human to desire connection, affection, intimacy. But desperation cheapens what love is meant to be. Rushing into “something” just to avoid being single on Valentine’s Day often leaves people lonelier inside relationships than they ever were alone.
The universe has its own timing.
Just like seasons change, so do chapters in our lives.
The same universe that teaches us patience also knows when to introduce the right person—when we’re ready to receive love without losing ourselves in it.
So if you’re single this Valentine’s, don’t let decorations mock you. Let them remind you that love exists—and that you’re worthy of it too. Whether it comes this year or later, love isn’t late. It arrives when growth has done its quiet work.
For now, choose yourself.
Celebrate your journey.
Heal where you’re broken.
Grow where you’re lacking.
Love will meet you where you are becoming. 🌹

Doesn't have to be someone who is your partner
It's Love's day

@OluwoleFemiJacob I don’t have a partner. Who I mentioned are the only ones that matter to me. Nobody else knows me good enough to love me

This is so dramatic lol
This is very wise.
