Valentines thoughts
True love should be all year round, a life without some sort of love is empty and dangerous. But it is nice and worthwhile to have a day which focuses on such a thing.
It is common to see this day as only for romantic love, but i for myself reject this, imo it is about love in general, a parents love for their children, a child's love for their parent, a SW member's love for the website where they can be a kid again, and on and on a patriot's love of their country.
When the scope of the day is enlarged in such terms, gone are any hard feelings from past rotten experiences, we move along in life's rich cornucopia of sensations to relish.
The greatest love i believe is that which surpasses all time and space confines, that love of which can be for God, or literature, or some other lofty thing which actually through application enhances our lives. I remember the few people in my past, and i treasure them a bit more when i contemplate those sweet hours amidst their radiant personages, thankful for having had at least some time bejwelled by their presence.
We may feel we don't deserve some things, in a non-sarcastic way, but love is always a free gift that one doesn't earn, it's a miracle in a sense, which is why we often see in exemplary examples of love expressed in such impassioned strains.
I wish you all to feel loved today and every other day, and for you to express some love, love in all it's blinding all roundedness to some folk around you which may need it.
