@SimplyTracie I remember all the naysayers thought Reagan would get us into a major war with Russia! Obviously didn't happen, and the Soviet Union broke up! And the Berlin Wall was to keep their people in as prisoners not to keep out illegals!

@fanuc2013 The only reason that happened was because Reagan did not know until he visited a major defence installation ho w powerful nuclear weapons were. He went inside this mamoth armoured defence facility and aked what would happen if a nuke landed outside and was staggered to be told that they wouldn't exist.

His Pacifist ideals of his younger days took control even though he was enamoured with SDI.

@SimplyTracie most are good people, but how do you sort them out? They have to come here legally like millions of others have! You have to agree, it's not fair for some to just come in, and others to have to wait because they want to do it legally!

@SimplyTracie maybe legal under some circumstances but not moral. Now, I've listened to Trump's speeches, and I thought it was pretty clear that he doesn't think that all the illegals are bad people. But, there are bad people mixed in with them! You can't deny that! And, the illegals are inundating our system! I know people that live in Texas, and their resources are stretched beyond the breaking point!

@fanuc2013 Just enforce the laws. That’s all. Entering the US illegally is a misdemeanor and must be punished as the laws require. It’s really that simple.

No need to emphasize that Mexicans are rapists or drug dealers. What if Justin Trudeau said that about Americans?

@SimplyTracie the leftists don't want to enforce existing laws! They are cultivating voters! They want to give illegals drivers licenses, health care, welfare payments, and free schooling! That's the point of "sanctuary cities" where residents are taxed to pay for illegals! A lot of middle class people are moving out of California,and, I think there will be a big turnover in the politicians next election because of "sanctuary" policies

@fanuc2013 Is a Leftist anyone who isn’t a Trump supporter! Maybe they want to give them a drivers license (I don’t know) but they cannot get one if the law prohibits it.
The police may not want to enforce existing laws (I don’t know) but they must whether they like it or not. Not doing so is grounds for termination.

@SimplyTracie check it out! The mayors are ordering their police not to co-operate with ICE, trying to change laws to give out drivers licenses, and other perks! Now, I should be more clear, I mean the radical Leftists, like the BLM guy that was arrested today at a protest screaming "Trump must die!" He admitted he was going to shoot any MAGA people.

@SimplyTracie yes, he did have a gun. Now, all conservatives don't love Trump, but he is the best alternative at this point. I have hever heard of a conservative making threats like that. But, there probably have been some, there are mental cases on both sides.
