Sweetie, Trump is the first president to respond at all.
So, suck up the sarcasm and say thank you!

@Budwick First President to respond to what sir? Police brutality? Okay, if you say so.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@Budwick I mean as if all of this shit wasn't happening before Trump.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Dan193 Exactly. And, nothing was done.
My point.

@Budwick There is kind of a point lol. Like there's been plenty of other presidents and we've had police abuse how long???
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Budwick actually, while I'm no fan of Obama, he did take steps to stop the militarization of the police. Trump reversed that after he took office. This isn't Trump doing anything other than covering his own ass.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@basilfawlty89 Oh shit, I didn't know that.

@Budwick It's kinda strange to say that Budwick...

Since a lot of presidents (for example: Nixon, Reagan) ran on the idea that they had to restore law and order by getting more police on the street and cracking down hard on "crimes".

An this president, also said several times, that the good old days where the times that people were brought away on a stretcher after getting involved with the police, was a good thing. Something a lot of people voted for.

This feels more like a 180 just before the elections.
It's a bit like waving the rainbow flag, and once in office kicking them out of the militairy and removing anti-discrimination laws when it comes to their healthcare.

@Budwick 😂 LOL
