Enjoying my cup noodles on thanksgiving.

Before anyone feels sorry for me it’s okay! Food is food and I’m lucky to have any. I’m technically under the poverty line with my current income and this is all I chose to spare for a meal tonight, but even that is not as bad as it sounds. I purposely live frugally as I invest everything I can into the stock market for my second source of income outside of work so I’m doing quite well financially. If I chose to I could have spent more on food tonight, but it’s only me and with no family I didn’t see it as necessary. Cup noodles is more than enough to make me happy. So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

@YoMomma That’s a great idea! I may have to get into special flavors at some point. It’s crazy that I haven’t tried any considering how often I’m eating these.

@Reject i think they were a limited seasonal special 😁 anyway i liked them i had at least a half dozen or more ☺

@YoMomma That makes sense. See, this is what I need. The same flavors can get old after awhile. This could be my solution! I’ve also tried having eggs and stuff to make my ramen even more varied. Give it time and I’ll be living almost exclusively on this stuff. Happily too. 😌

@Reject oh i like adding frozen vegetables to mine

@YoMomma Yes! That way you get your veggies too. Do you have a favorite veggie to add?

@Reject well sometimes i add chopped onions and peppers .. i add it to the bowl first with the seasoning and zap that a bit then i add the noodles and water and cook it

Or i make the noodles and add the frozen vegetables in after to cool it down

I use either the mixed vegetables or broccoli or green beans or whatever ☺

Those are the bagged noodles tho not the cup noodles .. sometimes i eat them dry too but i haven't lately.. I've been eating soup chopped vegetables slow cooked in chicken broth with spices

@YoMomma You’ve given me options! Ramen is so versatile. I have both bagged and cupped since it’s all so cheap. I remember all the kids growing up who would eat it dry almost like chips! I’ve done that before too. I’ll have to experiment. I really like spicy so I’m thinking jalapeño peppers in some way.
