Ahem. Canada has never beaten us in anything. Not even once . 😂
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt Really?? Better look back at 1812
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Quimliqer that was our 2nd go around w the Brits (spoiler alert , it ended the same as the first ). Canada didn’t even exist then . My reply was meant as comedic hyperbole

@AthrillatheHunt
It was actually America's 7th go around with the Brits during the war of 1812 and 7 times the US had their asses beat back south across the border during that war, but who's counting, right?

@swirlie we only recognize 1776 and 1812. The victors get to write the history , right ? (Burn lol)

@AthrillatheHunt
That is correct. The USA lost the War of 1812 to the British which the US tried 7 times to reverse that outcome, but failed each time despite their gallant efforts. The US has lost every war it ever started in the last 213 years since the war of 1812, just for the record.
So far, the USA hasn't written anything positive about it's abysmal war history despite the advanced technology it had to work with for the last 200+ years, though American war museums are littered with American lies about about their military accomplishments which are also reflected in American-published history books.
You have to understand that Americans by their very nature are not warrior-minded people, which means that Americans are not survivors, they are not fighters, which is why the US military's track record at winning wars is so poor.

@swirlie we don’t start wars we end them . Just ask emperor Hirohito.
This thread started as a joke , but seriously , the US military is the greatest military force in our species history . No historian or military person would dispute that. Now whether we use it is a different story.
Your posts read like sour grapes and I don’t understand why .

Wrong again! The US doesn't end wars either. The US didn't end the war in Vietnam, the US never ended the war in Afghanistan, the US didn't end the war in Gaza, the US didn't end the war in Ukraine either.... and the US certainly never ended the war of 1812, so what the hell are you actually talking about? Do you even know for sure where the USA is on a map?
On a second note, the US military is not the greatest military force in our species of history by any stretch of the imagination. They have all the hardware but they don't have the strategic know-how which is why they keep failing.
Of all the conflicts the US got themselves into over the past 200 years, the US military only has a 62% success rate of coming out on top. Any non-American Historian or non-American military person will confirm that.
I think you're out of your league here and certainly over your head in US military history, so the next time you think you can start shooting your mouth off about the brilliance of American Intelligence, I think you ought to engage your brain before you engage your mouth.

@swirlie something tells me this has nothing to do w US military superiority and everything to do w something I will never know. Have a great day.
swirlie · 31-35
@AthrillatheHunt
The US does not have military superiority, otherwise it would have engaged with Russia and stopped the genocide in Ukraine. That is why the USA is no longer regarded as a reliable NATO member.

@swirlie Now I’m convinced this has nothing to do w our military superiority.
swirlie · 31-35
@AthrillatheHunt
US military superiority doesn't exist except in the minds of Americans who've been fed that big American lie and swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

@swirlie out of curiosity - who would you consider superior?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@VeronicaJane as I wrote , this has nothing to do w US military superiority and everything to do with something else.

As I've inferred, your self-perception of greatness has nothing to do with reality and everything to do with your ego's need to feel special.

@swirlie typical Canadian . Green is def your color .
StygianKohlrabi · 46-50, M
@AthrillatheHunt I think what they're trying to say is Canada is really just an offshoot of anti-American British forces
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@StygianKohlrabi it’s obvious there’s an issue here that’s preventing the truth from being acknowledged . Maybe that’s it.
swirlie · 31-35
@AthrillatheHunt
Then, why are you not acknowledging America's own truth, let alone your own?

@AthrillatheHunt I might actually like francophone Quebec. Never spent time there.

You haven't answered my question, Mister America! You answer posts that are addressed to other people, so do you open other people's mail and answer it as well?
