@BlueGreenGrey Almost ten years later I’m annoyed by the "we got him this time !" folks almost as much as I’m annoyed by the man himself. I won’t consider him "got" until he’s being dragged off in handcuffs or a body bag.

Until that day, the rest is just static.

True but it gives people hope. It is like with "difficult" relatives, we know it will be a relief when they kick the bucket, and that may be the only hope.

@BlueGreenGrey Up to a point you are right. The only problem being that Vance was Stephen Millers choice, sold to the Trump boys to convince Dad. Now if Trump has a Himmler, its Miller..And who knows what Miller promised the Trump heirs in return.. maybe Don Jnr as VP? Be afraid.. Be Very Afraid..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Speculation says that the MAGAt crowd won't worship Vance or whoever like they do tRump. I suppose it is possible but hard to imagine.

I do wonder how much of Vance's worst moments to date are just performative nonsense for his boss's approval ... but if his boss wasn't around, I wonder if that would've moderated him any? And importantly, what Vance would've renamed the Gulf of Mexico.

@BlueGreenGrey I concur on all points..Trump does seem to have cooled on vance a little . While Vance is distancing himself from Trump. At some point, some incodent will occur that removes Trump and allows Vance to take charge in name. But at that point a lot will happen very quickly to silence criticism of the administration. Really glad that my biggest problem will be my streaming subscriptions..😷

@BlueGreenGrey OK. I have to dig into Management bad habits here. So follow me down the rabbit hole. Bad managers in particular tend to hire on the 90% rule. That is, they tend to hire people they judge to be no more than 90% as smart as them, so they wont be a threat.. Now those people in turn tend to hire on the same principle. And once you get a few levels down, you are dealining with real morons. (Sound like any organizarion you know?) So.. In short. trump thinks he is the smartest man in the room. And since he hired everyone in the room, he is probably right. But its a really stupid room..😷
