My daughter is dating a Muslim guy too, but he isn't religious. He was supposed to come over for Thanksgiving, but he picked up a shift at work instead.

@Jenny1234 My daughter's boyfriend is Persian (Iranian), I'm pretty sure they left Iran to get away from the fundamentalism there.

@JimboSaturn @Jenny1234 you guys are a bit ignorant to think they left Iran because of the government, maybe their family gave work there or have lived and grew up in America even if they were religious why would that matter

@Monalisasmith86 First we are Canadian. Second he was born here i think but not his parents. His religion matters if he comes over to eat because he may only eat halal. Also my daughter is not religious so it wouldn't work if he was devout probably.
