plans for thanksgiving

its crazy my husband and i made no plans for thanksgiving thinking more likely than not id be in the hospital or just given birth on thanksgiving day. now 3 days before thanksgiving with no signs of labor were trying to figure out what were going to do. i definitely cannot drive 3 hours to my stepdads family dinner which is what we done every year we been married except 3 years ago when our youngest was due any time in fact i was on modified bed rest that thanksgiving and my son was born less than 2 weeks later on dec 1. and though im feeling pretty good for a woman at 34 weeks pregnant im definitely not going to be cooking a huge dinner thursday so were trying to decide what were going to do. i have a huge objection to eating out on holidays because i believe that no nonessential workplace should by law be allowed to be open on thanksgiving. jake is arguing for going to golden corral and making sure we leave a large tip for our waitress? any thoughts?
