I wait until seven to start my yard work. If they want to wait until it gets hot or pay someone else, that's on them. Gurgling exhaust and fart rockets at 2 AM are annoying.

now the question is why ..
did he have a flat and needed to air it up to go somewhere.. this is understandable
or was he just working in the garage .. this is a no no
just go ask him and get it over with before ya get angry over the little things..
