I need to get up at 6 and caffeinate ,then finish digging the six remaining holes 2 1/2 feet wide,3-4 ft down.Plenty of rocks,roots and clay soil to contend with along the way.Then set the 6x8 posts,mix and pour thousands of pounds of concrete,and maybe move the dirt piles elsewhere-time and muscle strain permitting.
Soon the homeowner will have her new retaining wall,and I will have some cash and fresh aches and pains.Then maybe eat some chocolate and watch blue herons doing their thing. Not especially looking forward to it.
