The thought absolutely crossed my mind. The problem is, he already testified. To make a difference in the outcome, they would have had to kill him before he testified. A revenge shooting doesn't make a lot of sense. The gunman was placing himself in jeopardy. I can't imagine any of those cops would jeopardize their job for her.
Whatever happened, I don't believe it was an act of random violence.
