maybe it is more of a cultural phrase as opposed to a literal one. I would love to know if you think in English when you read post on here or in Italian and translate to English and anything anytime you might share on culture in Italy. It is a very exotic sounding place to us (or me) simpe uncultured Americans.
in the USA most non religous schools are closed on thw weekend and business that focus on B-to-B (meaning business to busiess) are closed while B-to-C busines (meaning business to consumer) are open and the weekend are their money making days.
