Are you living your life for you or under conditions set by your boyfriend ?
At what point do you get to make decisions for yourself ?
Sounds as if your boyfriend has no problems arranging holidays in places he's obviously enjoyed with an ex. but isn't happy with you arranging your own.
This is about control....and the fact he doesn't have any over you.
Be upfront and honest with him about why you want this holiday and why he is free to express an opinion but that expecting you to change your mind because of his objection is unfair and clearly demonstrates he doesn't trust you.
