🍂🍁 October photo challenge 🍁🍂 - 6th October 2022

A new sun rises
Never seen before
Of the millions of feet
That have walked the land
To see the sea
To hear the waves
Crashing upon the shore
People from today
People from the past
The ocean never changes
But today I saw the new sunrise
And that reminds me
Everything changes
Everything moves on
One day the place
Where I stood
I will stand no more
But in my footprints
Another will take my place
And they’ll watch
The new sunrise

Bear or not a Bear....looks a lil lost. Not too far from my place.

@KiwiBird you think he’d know where he was going as he’s hanging onto a road sign 🫢

@GLITTER Yeah but Koalas are not endemic to this area and that Bay has sharks and few gum trees.

@KiwiBird I just assumed there was koalas walking around everywhere. As common as our pigeons 😂

@GLITTER Mainly the east coast. They have become established in other areas only because of human intervention like where I live. Some areas where they have been introduced they have become a problem. They sound weird....like wild pigs. I have had the odd one come visit.

@KiwiBird Oh man so cute!
GLITTER · 36-40, F
@KiwiBird Are they as cuddly as they seem to be ? 🥺

@GLITTER The pet ones in captivity do, but they do have claws that could do you some damage. They eat gum leaves a couple of hours a day and like all stoners sleep for the other twenty-two.
