I walked these river banks back in late Spring and they were bursting with life. Today all was quiet except the rustling of falling leaves on the wind and a few far off birds. The earth closing her eyes and beginning her long sleep.
I looked up a lot as I was walking, watching the multicolored leaves pinwheeling on the breeze.
