I love how Sunday night I’ll have this overly ambitious plan on how fiercely I’m gonna take on Monday.

But then I wake up to cloudy skies, prompting me to stay in bed longer than I actually can. And I accidentally put on my shorts inside out and backwards and right then and there decide taking them off and putting them back on the right way will be my greatest accomplishment of the day.

Good ole Monday, man 🙄

I have been furloughed from the federal government and am pretty close to forgetting what day it is. I am also staying up too late. I went to bed at 5 am this morning and am now eating breakfast in the afternoon at a nearly empty restaurant. Me and the retirees.

I am not worried since Congress passed a law a few years ago so we automatically will get paid for the time we were not allowed to work. Yeah, so backward. I want to work for my pay, but cannot. I cannot work for free. All I can do is sit on my arse. Or resign.

I hope your Monday gets better.
