Wow! What a day.
Yesterday wss one for the tecord books. I see a lady who manages my medications. Yesterdy there was a new person handling my case. She asked me what brought me in to see her and I explained it was just a rputine visit, and then she asked the big question. She wanted to know what all was going on with me. I opened up and let it all hang out. I told her what was going on, and exactly how I was feeling. The next thing I knew, my regular therapist k ocked on the door and entered. She was wit us for close to ten minutes. The med lady had emailed my thetapist to get her opinion on how I was feeling. The med lady said she was about to call 9-1-1 and have me committed for the night. My therapist was able to convince her that I was ok and that these were just feelings and not actual plans.
On a more positive note, my weight is now down to 249 pounds. Last spring at the doctor's office, I tipped the scales at 259 pounds. I said to myself "That's too much weight" so I started working on trying to lose weight. I have been walking a couple miles a week fpr almost two years now, drinking at least half a gallon of water a day, and eating better. Well, yesterday it all paid off.
On another positive note, I did some math last week and discovered something fascinating about myself. I can walk half a mile in about ten minutes. That means I average about three miles an hour. Not too bad for a 61 year old man..
