Monday rush-day! My girlfriend had an appointment to get to, I had a ballet class in the city!
We share looking after our goatherd, and so scheduling can be tight, like this morning! I rushed out of doors to get the bus into town to get to a ballet class. The last ballet class I went to was on Friday, and although I exercise at home too, we both do, it is only in class that you can see how stiff you are from inactivity in the eyes of your contemporaries. Anyway, I rushed to class wearing my leotard and tights and legwarmers, ready to change into soft shoes for class, oh I had a tee shirt over the top. I got some looks, people thinking I had forgotten my skirt or something. Coming out was different again, as I always take my sweaty stuff off, so I ended up bare-legged, wearing a very short crinoline skirt and my bra, but I had forgotten to throw a pair of knickers into my bag, no socks either, and I simply kicked my Nikes on to get back to the bus stop in time for my bus home, with everything in my shoulder bag (very ethnic and Indian), and I got some serious looks again from fellow travellers.
I got home, after a time, just as my girlfriend (Krizstina) was straining to leave to get into the city for her modelling appointment. She texted me that she just made it! She had mucked out the goats stall, and fed them some pellets and some of our own hay, and watered them, although when I went out I could see they had used up all the water. We change it regularly because they do have odd habits, so we have a hose from the tap which is almost exclusively connected for them. We have fourteen goats, including Irish whites, and six hectares of land, next door to my parents' farm. Obviously, I changed my clothes to work with the goats, and I have put on knickers! My girlfriend will be out the remainder of the day, so I am looking after our livestock, as I work on the painting that I am also trying to finish for a client. Yes, with Krizstina's potters' wheel, my easel, our dancing, our modelling and our farm, we have extremely busy lives here just outside Budapest!
