Happy Monday Morning 🌞 What are your plans for today?

@Stereoguy They are having a trial against opioid pharmaceutical company and say that it may set a new state record for the length of the trial. Was sent a jury summons but got a message that there was no need to show up, something cancelled. That company wanted a jury trial but it was overruled so they will have a trial by judge now. I would have hated to been on a jury that lasted weeks or months.

@Stereoguy He got accepted to a private school a couple miles from the house, I would be taking him and picking him up...that would be the problem...transportation. I was thinking if I went to jury duty this week, he is old enough to let himself inside after the bus drops him off from school...he is very trustworthy and is old enough to stay by himself a couple hours. But the transportation thing...this summer they are supposed to have him doing what they call a “play-date”...they check all the new students for 3 weeks to make sure there aren’t any behavior problems. He already went one day a few weeks ago and they accepted him but they want all the new ones to come for 3 weeks...probably not all day either because it’s not state-mandated how many hours like the school schedule is.

@Stereoguy I hope they don’t call me back for something else.

@Stereoguy I got a letter for a federal jury last summer, they asked about children 10 or under and he was 10 then so they didn’t send me a letter to go....otherwise it would have been last summer.
