I've been lifting weights this time around since July 9th.
It's been slightly over 2 months, and I've just been keeping up this same routine of lifting once every 3 or 4 days. All squats and bench presses. I think I've been pretty good with my form, and with doing progressive overload without overtraining. Just 3 sets to failure every time and that's it.
3 months is around the minimum time before you can start seeing visible results, and I've never seen visible results before. If I do get there, I hope seeing those results is rewarding enough to keep me going. Right now, it's all just sheer willpower and a sense of obligation. I'm going to need a hell of a lot more than that to keep this up long enough to extend my lifespan.
