Every 5th July and 1st November I get formal invitations to military events

Used to take my nephew with me because he loves military equipments, vehicles, planes...etc

I don't.

This year unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Too tired and have to finish loads of paperwork and do other life things.

Maybe next November if I am around.

So when you attend these military events, do you fell safe knowing the military can respond to an attack? Or does it make you feel empathy of all the destruction and death people will encounter when attacked with military force ?

@SledgeHammer our laws are designed to prevent our military from any foreign interventions. They only operate within our soil and based on my personal experience, post war, they are mostly good men and women. I am grateful to them.
As to during the war, well. That is something to be discussed some other day.
