It’s a day trip a bad idea for July third a Sunday
To Ocean City Maryland. My wife thinks it will be hard to get it out of there it’s just a day trip. We spend time at the ocean and then go home.

There is no such thing. Thursday there is traffic from all the folks trying to elongate their weekend. Friday there is traffic. Saturday, time share traffic. Sunday, everyone going home traffic. Monday traffic all the folks choosing to make it a long weekend. God help you if there is an accident at any time on the Bay Bridge. Graduation from USNA was last weekend so you will spare yourself that. OC has been over crowded since the 80's. Now just more so. Personally if I were bound and determined to get sand everywhere and jelly fish burns, I'd either go to rehobeth, or assateague.

@Steve42 been to Assateague camped there. Been to Ocean City before. But my son wants to take a bunch of us down there in a big van. For a day trip July 3. We done it before just not on a holiday weekend. My wife is concerned it will be too busy and will be a nightmare. Because it’s a holiday weekend.
