I haven't carved a pumpkin since idk when... Maybe when I was 10 or something. I'm about to be 30 so that's a long time for me. I carved Naya's pumpkin first (my gf helped by starting it) & I carved mine next. Hers is Spiderman since Spiderman is her newest favorite thing these days). She was so excited about her Spiderman pumpkin 🤗 she saw mine after I was done & she got all excited again & said "BEEBOB!" Because that's what she calls SpongeBob 😂 for context, my pumpkin was a copy of her SpongeBob Fuggler because it's one of her favorite toys. She brought it to my dad's house while carving the pumpkins. I didn't know what to carve as a pumpkin after I finished Naya's, so I figured I'd do something simple & easy on mine 🙃 maybe I'll carve one again next year & do something cool like how my dad did.
His was super cool imo, he even pulled out a sewing needle & gave it stitches. My grandpa was actually an artist & my dad turned out very artistic too. I turned out the same way so my family has always told me that I got it from them. But I hardly ever draw or make creative things these days. It felt cool to carve pumpkins. Naya immediately recognized Spiderman & was super excited about it. & When she saw mine she immediately went "BEEBOB!! HI BEEBOB!" because that's what she calls SpongeBob 😅 she instantly knew it was supposed to be her SpongeBob Fuggler lol so that made me happy she recognized it so fast. I'll include a picture of her SpongeBob Fuggler too just for reference.
