"Antioch teacher on administrative leave over Halloween costume"

Intent is everything. i saw the costume. the teacher had a dark bag and dark make-up on to represent the night. and a moon was placed on the teacher's head. a Scooby-do bus was on the body. It's not like Thelma was in black face. Antioch...grow up!

What you don't understand about the situation by either not following current events here in the Bay Area, or not being from this area at all, could fill a warehouse: This is Antioch- THE Antioch, with the racist police force scandal, THAT Antioch: https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc7news.com/amp/antioch-pittsburg-police-officers-charged-fbi-corruption-probe-scandal-under-investigation/13664919/ That's why they hyper reacted to this. They don't dare have another public entity there that's taxpayer funded that has ANY sign of racism. No matter how out of context it is taken

Halloween is the 1 and only day you can be anyone and anything you want. Not like she showed up on MCA test day rockin that costume!

but I do know that teachers have to be especially careful.

I just really am reflecting the Anti- Halloween thing many are up to
a short search suggests it MAY have been mistaking the make up as
"blackFace"
left and right are often BOTH full of 💩
