TGIF everyone!!!!
This Friday is huge for my family, niece's wedding. So elaborate and stuff there was a rehearsal yesterday.
I will be staying home though with my ambient drone, and reading, maybe heat up a disgusting frozen lasagna. And maybe, ... just maybe my last physical order will come in.
I remember my brother's wedding, i carried around a book of Jim Morrison's poetry on that day. Now his daughter's getting married and every time i flick the ash off my cigarette to the right it trickles down onto the blankets.
Since i share practically everything here, i must add that after last kindle related post i added Algernon Blackwood, Arthur Machen and a bunch more Michael McDowell novels. Almost done his Elementals and it's like the beginning of a beautiful friendship with vintage genre fiction. My previous post touched upon a well known dimension, of the childhood aspect of being scared. I would also like to add to that that there is a energy we had as children that is sucked out of us when we grow up, that energy i see now as a love for details, and when we love something, when we love doing something, seen this way, there is a childhood aspect at work. I guess my point here is to remind y'all of that, and don't let that spark of childlike wonder completely go.
Back to reading, i dunno why i'm posting and participating, as all i wanna do is drift into the eternal shadow region, that blissful enchanted kingdom of the imagination. Be well, and enjoy the weekend. Cheerio!! 😊
