What it mean of my doctor to call me fat?

I went to the doctor on Friday. My doctor is an "In Your Face" doctor. Like she will be on you and she is very strict. She got in my face flat out told me, "I have to be brutally blunt. You're fat. You are this close to diabetes, damn it! Lay off the junk food! Just lay off. You need to lose weight and your cutting is out of control. Stop that shit." I said, "I'm not fat! I'm just big boned." She said, "That's just an excuse. You are fat." I argued and said, "People are accepting bug girls! Also I-" she interrupted me and short back at me, "Unless you wanna keep making lame excuses and end up om the 600 pound life, I suggest you to care about your health." I couldn't say anything else. She really offended me and hurt me but she didn't care. I'm 5'3 and 266lbs. Was she right to call me fat? Doctors aren't suppose to body shame their patients. I don't know if I want to go back to that doctor. She is my primary care doctor unfortunately.

Since in your user name you call yourself fat, you can hardly blame the doctor for thinking and declaring the same thing.

@SensitiveGirl96 Well you each have a point your username is kind of odd for someone that takes offense to a MD saying you are fat. Your MD is the crude one.
