Back in the day before Health and Safety stepped in. Perhaps for good reason. People lost hands and eyes every year. Sparklers! My mates and I sticking a lighted banger in an empty fisherman's maggot tin, putting the lid on quick and watching the tin leap up into the air. Fortunately I still have my hands and eyes.
