It was New Years eve
But felt just like Fireworks
A forbidden kiss
Excused by the date
But wow - no words exchanged
Or needed
Candlelight blown in the Breeze
My racing mind cast Adrift
The marching Sands of time ticked over
My life changed for ever
Gods Humour vent on my weakness
Lingering intense
Heart stopping
Mind racing and heart thumping
Joy and pounding excitement
Both surprised and delighted
