Someone reacted to my Bhagavad Gita post, and I needed that reminder, been neglecting that one lately, and the section i'm on is telling me not to be so hyper focused on time, which I do tend to be, as my audible listening time for today will be less than 12 hours, first time it's been this low for a few days.
Had to sleep from the morning to the evening, and now i'm gonna bring that 7 hrs to around 10 for today.
I do like to make special note of time as a measuring, so I can see what has been done, but I also have to realize that most of what goes into the ears, don't stay there or go into and abide in the mind, they mostly just exit my consciousness.
There should be more and more steps toward long term comprehension, one small step I'm taking is to have the speed of the audiobooks to be at normal speed, I can hear beautiful little sonic qualities of the voices only when it's at normal speed.
Last few days i've over emphasized the visual accompaniments to my book listening, sometimes not looking or doing anything is best, like meditating, for when you're always driven to be distracted, it's showing you that you cannot be by yourself peacefully, there's unrest within, and you need external stimuli to keep from going crazy in a non-Prince way.
In 7 days brother will take me to dad, and that is when my finances will return to a state where I can get groceries and other necessaries like smokes and gummies. I naturally think of more audiobooks or movies to get, but I am seriously set royally for the rest of my life, but I would like to get the Naxos recordings of Trollope's Barchester series, I have the Pallisers series on Naxos and I LOVE it, great voice recording unlike the free for Plus subscribers versions which feel flat and like waking up in that room in Saw 1, handcuffed on a cold floor.
Yesterday when closing the window in the washroom, the handle broke off!! That's not such a big deal, I don't need that open, if I want fresh air, and wanting fresh air can easily turn into needing it, I shall go up into my room where the window is open all the time, and breathe it all in.
