Do you have a poem like this in your language?

Today is the last day of February, which reminds me of this poem that I learned as a child (There are actually several variations of the last lines)

Thirty days hath September,
April , June, and November.
All the rest have thirty one,
Save February, which has twenty eight,
But one year in four
Has one day more.

If your primary language is not English, did you learn a similar poem?

I came early to the conclusion that the people who make decisions on things like official calendars are simply disposed to be difficult.

@Mamapolo2016 In the early years of ancient Rome, the first part of the year had NO dates, since farmers were not planting then, and the calendar was originally about keeping track of the growing season.

Julius Caesar inserted three extra months in 45 BC, and in order to bring the calendar in synch with the seasons, that year had 445 days!

It was known, even back then, as "The Year of Confusion!"
