I've listened to it a couple of times now... and I still don't get it.

@Elessar I thought Luxembourg was kinda cool though... I didn't like her english bit. She should have stayed in french according to me.

I actually thought Finland was cute. I had fun with that one.

I wasn't impressed with Serbia.

That Norway ended up last, made little sense to me...
I didn't get Portugal and I thought Italia was mediocre... In my list, both of them would have been lower then they were ranked after the finals.

@Elessar I actually liked the Vesuvian rap more. Don't get me wrong... Italy was still an okay entry. But it just didn't have what it take to play with the big boys this year. For me, after listening to the first 2 shows, the big contestants were: Ukraine, France, Switzerland, Croatia. And the ones that might be a suprise were: Ireland, Sweden, Armenia, Netherlands.

@Kwek00 Of the various Sanremo entries personally I would've sent either this (#3), if we really wanted to go with a pop one:

@Kwek00 Oh yeah I liked all those as well; Ireland only the performance, the song (i.e. if you take it out of the performance, and listen only to the music) is pretty weak to me. But that's subjective, it's just not my genre. Armenia was underrated. Croatia was my pick but I'm fine also with Switzerland winning

@Kwek00 Ukraine was underrated too, I'm glad the televote made It justice at least

@Elessar Yeah... Ireland was pretty much a complete "act"... it's not my thing, but what she did, she performed splendidly. It was out there, it looked and it sounded good.

Tastes are always subjective... 😅

If I would have picked a winner... It would probably be Ukraine or France.
But Switzerland, was also amazing... At some point you need to make choices though, and my taste put Ukraine and France to the top... and it's still really hard to choose.

When it comes to the best beats... I will go for Sweden though.

And Armenia was just a joyfull little piece of music. It will do well in the summer hit parades.

@Kwek00 France's guy is pretty impressive voice wise, but the song.. it was the frenchest song France has ever franced after Barbara Pravi's. It had the same problem Angelina had, it was "too much Italian"; I mean I complain about songs that are too generic/anonymous, but if they're too stereotypical it isn't my thing either 😅

Ukraine was good but not winning material imo. For saying, I liked Belgium's better. The only I found overrated was Israel's; politics aside, the song was lame/generic af. Had they sent something like Ukraine's, the massive numbers they got from the televote could've been justifiable at least. This way it felt rigged, because no chances in hell a song like that would've scored anywhere better than #10 hadn't it been for politics.

Switzerland's better for me than Sweden, Armenia, Ukraine, France; I would've put it second only to the Croats' Rammstein
