I Like Eurovision Song Contest

Politics. Ukraine is thr new pampered child of NATO and financial elites, and the song was very critical with Russian intervention in Crimea, it could not be other way.
What I find sad is that millions of people were brainwashed again by the bloody tv yesterday.

That's because they are active members of EBU (European Broadcasting Union). Australia isn't the only one by the way, there are a lot of Asian countries participating in it as well. It's not logical to me either but nothing seems logical anymore.

@Cierzo it's like you read my mind and said everything I wanted to say! It's really sad that we live in a world like this. We can't even have a silly song competition without politics, religion, racism, sexism.

I am not European but have heard of this Eurovision Song Contest. I have a question. Is this a contest in song artistry among European countries? If so, why is Australia included in the competition?

Pretty much every song except Ukraine.
My favorites (top five) however were Bulgaria, Serbia, France, Russia and Latvia. Australia was pretty amazing too.

Who was your vote with?

You saved yourself a lot of time and unnecessary stress trust me Quizling! I don't usually care about stuff that don't influence my personal life but this really annoyed me. The song is just awful! >:-(

They are inviting so many countries it may as well be a world event now...
