I Have A Birthday Every Year

It is usually the same, just another day on the calendar. It was so exciting when I was younger, but it becomes monotonous as the years drag on. I will get gift cards (some that don't get used or take time to do so) or money, but feelings are gone. I wonder if they will ever be exciting again.
