Birthday of Gandhi

Today is the birthday of one of the greatest mass mobilisers of the modern era. It is widely acknowledged that India, today the worlds most populous nation, owes its independence from British colonial rule to this one man more than any other single factor.

Strangely the state of the nation is today very different from Gandhis dreams. Growing capitalism, weakening secularism, ultra nationalism... one wonders how he would have reacted to this state of his dream.
