Just a short trip to Bali and now heading home. Four days, no fixed itinerary, just Google Maps, conversations with locals and other tourists, and figuring things out along the way. Most importantly, no Bali belly.
I’m still quite new to travelling on my own, and there’s still so much for me to learn. One thing this trip reminded me is that I don’t always have to have everything figured out. Sometimes, I just need to relax, chill and trust myself a little more.
This trip was actually a birthday gift to myself. At 39, I lost my marriage, but I found myself again. Perhaps that’s the best birthday gift I could have given myself 🥂
